FireBug hails from the hi-desert landscape of Joshua Tree, California. Built around the artistic partnership of Juliette Tworsey and Jules Shapiro, the band blends modern rock with ‘60s and ‘70s psychedelia, blues, folk, electronica, and the soulful roots of New Orleans.
Juliette Tworsey’s commanding voice and fearless delivery have drawn comparisons to Grace Slick and Chrissie Hynde, with Grimy Goods calling her “a vocal force of nature,” and EARMILK praising her “raw, soulful intensity.” Atwood Magazine described her presence as “fiery and fearless,” underscoring the emotional urgency she brings to every track.
Known for their explosive live performances, FireBug has lit up stages at major festivals and venues worldwide—from SXSW, CMJ, and NXNE to performing at the sold-out Sonisphere Festival Knebworth and London’s iconic Dublin Castle.
They’ve shared stages with iconic artists such as Iggy Pop, Iron Maiden, The Cult, Alice In Chains, Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, and even shared the bill with ‘60s legend Donovan, building a loyal fan base across continents.
In 2024, FireBug teamed up with 2x Grammy winner Adrian Bushby (Best Rock Album – Foo Fighters) to release the powerful single “Red, White and Blue.” The band further recently secured a major sync placement with Apple TV+ for their song “Moment Of Joy,” featured in the upcoming series Smoke, directed by Emmy Award-winner Dennis Lehane (The Wire, Blackbird).
Their music has drawn critical praise from across the globe. Additional accolades include features in LA Weekly, Time Out NY, Elmore Magazine, and Pure Grain Audio.
FireBug continues to grow their presence with timeless spirit, raw passion, and a sound all their own. Their new single "Time Marches On" is a powerful fusion of soulful vocals and atmospheric electronic rock, capturing the relentless flow of time and nature’s pull.
Juliette Tworsey delivers a spellbinding vocal performance—both haunting and heartfelt—drawing listeners into a dreamlike, emotional journey. Her voice soars over Jules Shapiro’s textured guitar work and pulsing rhythms, creating a sound that’s cinematic and raw.
Produced by Jordan Lawlor (BECK, M83, DEFTONES), the track reflects FireBug’s signature desert noir aesthetic with a modern edge. A visually striking music video accompanies the release.

Evalyn has spent over a decade transforming personal turbulence into pop catharsis. The Los Angeles-based artist, whose work has amassed over 130 million streams on Spotify, returns with her most ambitious project yet—A Quiet Life, an album that captures the existential unraveling of modern consciousness through the lens of impending motherhood.
Known for wrapping raw emotional intensity in irresistible melodies, Evalyn first captivated audiences as the voice behind Louis the Child's breakout track "Fire," before establishing herself as both a sought-after collaborator and formidable solo artist. Her 2018 psychedelic pop opus Salvation cultivated a devoted following, exploring themes of self-rescue that would become her artistic calling card. The album's 2024 vinyl re-release, featuring new material, proved her enduring resonance with fans seeking depth beneath the dance floor.
A Quiet Life pushes further into conceptual territory, drawing production inspiration from the dissonant frequencies of Aphex Twin, ARCA, and Grimes. Written and recorded almost entirely during her first pregnancy, the 13-track collection mirrors the physical and psychological chaos of transformation—the nausea of anxiety, the noise of endless scrolling, the vertigo of losing oneself while creating new life. It's her most visceral work yet, co-created with some of Los Angeles' most innovative producers to weave a sonic narrative of consciousness, tension, and surrender.
As a live performer, Evalyn commands stages from intimate venues to festival main stages. She's graced Coachella's Sahara tent with Jai Wolf, performed at The Greek Theater, and captivated crowds at SXSW and CRSSD. Her collaborations read like a who's who of electronic music's vanguard: Dillon Francis, San Holo, Tritonal, It's Murph and RAC have all tapped into her singular ability to inject humanity into the digital realm.
With music featured everywhere from HBO to Spotify's most coveted playlists (New Music Friday, Young & Free, Metropolis), and support from major publications such as Billboard, Paper and Nylon, Evalyn continues to blur the lines between pop accessibility and artistic ambition. A Quiet Life sees her at her most fearless, inviting listeners to piece together their own meaning from the wreckage. True to form, she offers no easy answers—only the permission to feel everything, loudly.
Her new single "The Feeling" is a sonic adrenaline rush inspired by the euphoric sounds of the 2010’s. The track is shared alongside an enthralling music video that represents a kind of maina. Evalyn confides, "This song is really about being taken over by a feeling or a raw instinct and we wanted to create that through movement. I was 6 months pregnant and crawling on the floor in heels and pink tights - I think that helped capture the chaos." "The Feeling" is filled with soaring memorable hooks over pulsating beats and feverish basslines creating the ultimate dance-floor anthem.
Tristan Tritt is a storyteller of the American experience, a believer in the power of simplicity, and an artist who never stops moving forward.
The musician and singer-songwriter is embracing who he truly is, along with the influences that shaped him. A proud Southerner, the Georgia native is unleashing his own exploration and blend of different styles including Southern rock, country, blues and alternative. This blurring the lines of genre recalls the spirit of his musical heroes, The Black Crows, Koe Wetzel, Colter Wall, and Tom Petty but with a fresh and modern edge. “I really hate the thought of being locked into a category,” he confides.
Born with music in his blood, his father is Grammy-winning country artist Travis Tritt, a young Tristan picked up his first Fender Stratocaster at age 11 and never put it down. He mastered grunge and alt rock staples like Oasis’ “Wonderwall,” The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army,” and Foo Fighters’ “Monkey Wrench”, soon turning that passion into writing original songs. Farthing his craft, he learned recording engineering in a school in Arizona and surrounded himself with other creatives in California. He devoted every spare moment to the recording studio and performing live, through countless shows, growing a dedicated fanbase.
In 2022, he released his first batch of singles “Oblivion” and “Right On Time”, introducing his hard-hitting rock sound to the masses. His contemplation on the obsessiveness of social media with “No Filter”, led to praise from American Songwriter among others, while his 2024 single “Sick of It” has racked up nearly two hundred thousand plays.
Now, Tristan Tritt is entering a new chapter—a musical rebirth. “For years I had fully immersed myself in Alternative rock (Specifically from the 90’s), but there had always been something missing for me. I am a proud southerner and grew up listening to bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackberry Smoke, and now incredible, new talents, such as treaty, Oak, revival, Dexter and the Moon Rocks. I love their blend of rock and southern / Texas style, and wanted to start my 2025 journey by paying homage to the rebels of old and new.”
Teaming up with collaborators Chris Ayer and Jerry Fuentes, Tristan is now leaving his own unique stamp on rock music. With tight musicianship, a whiskey-soaked voice that’s both gritty and soulful, and storytelling that cuts deep, his newest material is his most authentic yet.
His 2025 single “Stop the Ride” is an autobiographical track chronicling the grind of chasing a dream- the repetitive hard work, the constant tug-of-war between doubt and determination, and the emotional rollercoaster of highs and lows. Melancholic soundscapes and country-western undertones culminate into an explosive, arena-worthy chorus.
The new single “Wannabe” plays like both a love letter to his roots and a bold step into wider sonic territory. He shares, “the song came from an idea I had, while hearing about the parallels between the Cohen Bros. Classic O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Homer’s Odyssey. I wanted to blend an honest discussion with myself about who I am and where I come from, while also sprinkling a bit of Greek mythology behind it. There is a very special place in my heart, in regards to the relationship between the Father and his Son, so Icarus came to mind.” Soaring guitar riffs, hypnotic rhythms and heightened melodies captures a timeless sense of longing and freedom.
Before she was Party Nails, Elana Carroll was a guitar-toting tween, playing any open mic near her hometown of Chatham, New York. At home she recorded herself with Garageband, instigating a love of music technology which continues to this day. Party Nails debuted in 2015 on Neon Gold’s famed blog with Break.
Her first tour in 2017 (with PVRIS and Lights) ushered in a devoted fanbase, and her live performances continue to be a core facet of her artistry, being equal parts Madonna, Hayley Williams, and Sheryl Crow. In 2020 she wrote Rockin' on the Rag, a song about period pride, for Loren Bouchard’s Apple animated series Central Park, wrote and produced the Le Tigre-infused Supernatural for feminist rock duo Deap Vally, and continued to lend her vocals to other musicians (LŪN, Urban Heat, Battle Tapes, MitiS, Getter, and others have featured her vocals on their releases).
Her music has been in movies and television (Glass, Girls, The L Word: Generation Q, Nancy Drew, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) featured in various media outlets (Billboard, PAPER, Noisey, Earmilk, Paste and more) and included on Spotify Editorial playlists such as Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Indie, and Undercurrents.
She operates a recording studio, Top Coat, in Los Angeles, where she records, produces and mixes for other artists as well as her own projects.
''On Pillow Talk'', Party Nails third album, Carroll has partnered with Eye Knee Records (founded by musicians Holly Miranda & Amb. Parsley, with the sharp mind and steady hand of boss lady, Elissa Young). The ten track collection is a genre-bending timeless yet forward thinking album featuring an intoxicating mix of retro synthwave, futuristic electro-pop, and lush indie rock. Pillow Talk finds Party Nails in a honey colored party mood.
The noir-electropop single "Trigger Warning" radiates with synthwave energy, bringing to mind Kavinsky’s hit “Nightcall” as much as Chromatics and The Weeknd. Singing as a survivor processing her abusive relationship, the verses speak on injury and pain, endurance and triumph.
When she sings ”you’re gonna keep on rising / with the morning sun.”, Party Nails is once again holding space for opposing emotional forces in an immersive yet accessible piece of music.
The music video directed by Elinor Howells weaves between surrealism and emotional upheaval, blending dreamlike landscapes with introspective portraiture. The vintage-toned footage feels nostalgic and otherworldly as if filtered through a hazy VHS tape or a childhood memory. The video narrates themes including escape, finding community, inner searching, transformation, and transcendence.
Party Nails shares, " I loved Elinor Howells' work on Boy Phase’s “Small Talk” music video (a song I recorded and mixed last year) and jumped at the opportunity to work with her. I downloaded all of my ideas I’d been brewing on and told her to run with them.
“Trigger Warning” is a song that encapsulates isolation and moving out of isolation, so we wanted to have the damsel character move from a chaotic state of running and fear and confusion, to one of beauty, connection and joy.
With Quinn Thomashow as DP and Estrello Lo on mixed media and editing, Elinor masterfully infused the gritty street art of eastern Los Angeles with Estrella's dreamy flowers and textures to create a dream-like world. Our damsel is rescued by my real-life friends, Fake Dad (check out their music!), queer angels who bring her to a nightclub in Heaven. Together they dance, surrounded by love and freedom of expression."
Staci Gruber is a transformative Boston-based artist whose exceptional musical talents, storied songwriting, and emotional depth resonate deeply with her listeners. Her work seamlessly intertwines personal experiences with the emotional stories of others, creating a profound musical connection that explores themes of isolation, loneliness, and hope.
Music has been an intrinsic part of Staci’s life from an early age. What began as a shy, introspective passion—singing privately in her closet—quickly blossomed into a powerful voice when she performed her first solo, "12 Days of Christmas," in elementary school. It was then that Staci discovered her true voice and has never looked back.
Throughout her childhood, Staci spent summers at the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, which further solidified her deep love for music.
Staci’s journey took a unique and ambitious turn when she became the first person to transition from the classical voice program to the jazz studies department in a pioneering five-year dual-degree program at Tufts University and the New England Conservatory of Music.
This distinctive educational background has shaped her multifaceted artistry and honed her versatility as both a performer and a songwriter.
Her diverse musical influences range from Anne Murray to Barbra Streisand, Karen Carpenter, KD Lang, Billie Eilish, Pink Nancy Wilson, John Coltrane and more, seeping various genres into her own unique musical melting pot. This led to her becoming a lead vocalist in a popular GB band that performed an eclectic range of musical styles and tastes.
While her musical career flourished as a vocalist, Staci also achieved distinction in a completely separate field as a renowned Harvard Medical School professor and pioneering neuroscientist at McLean Hospital.
In her groundbreaking work on cannabis, she focuses on understanding the long term impact of cannabinoids across a wide range of conditions. Staci’s research has been a game-changer, generating real-world data that has influenced clinical trials and provided critical insights into the potential benefits of cannabis for various medical conditions.
Staci Gruber’s new country meets Americana single "Be Kind With My Heart" was recorded in Nashville and produced by Erik Halbig (Ty Herndon, Jamie O'Neal). The emotive and gorgeous ballad tackles the aftermath of betrayal or infidelity and the reletable emotions that ensue.
She shares, "Each one of us experiences so much throughout our lives- joy, sorrow, love, loss. They help to define us and allow us to evolve. We’ve all been heartbroken and felt betrayed, wondering if we’ll make it through. Be Kind With My Heart echoes the sentiment that no matter what role we play in lost love, kindness is key".
Staci has found success performing with Dan Aykroyd and the Blues Brothers, writing an anthem for Billie Jean King, and performing at several large events with collaborator Michael Orland. Through her music and her research, Staci Gruberexemplifies the power of connection – whether through the transformative power of music or the scientific exploration of medical solutions—and reminds us all that no matter where we are, we are never truly alone.
She shares, “Maybe music really can help people feel things they need to feel… I always hope that music allows people to understand someone else’s perspective – empathy in its truest sense.”
Indigo De Souza(インディゴ・デ・スーザ)の7月発売されるニューアルバム『Precipice』からセカンドシングル「Crying Over Nothing」が公開された。
生き生きとしたリードボーカルが曲を活性化させる。特にフリーマンが "My thoughts die out slowly on the blood swept plains where I see you every night / And to the lonely hours, it's like burning the furniture to keep the house bright at night "と歌っている。("僕の思いは、毎晩君を見かける血に塗れた平原でゆっくりと死に絶え/ 孤独な時間には、夜、家を明るく保つために家具を燃やすようなものだ'')
‘Curtain’ is the new single from Greg Freeman and the second to be revealed from his forthcoming album ‘Burnover’, set for release on 22nd August via Transgressive Records/Canvasback Music. The single arrives following Freeman’s packed out set at The Great Escape earlier this month.
The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Carl Elsaesser and uses repurposed footage from one of Carl’s short films. Describing the track as “a love song of sorts,” Freeman noted its spontaneous feel, sharing that the vocals were likely a first take to preserve a free-flowing, unpolished quality. The song features subtle touches like barnyard animal sounds, but Freeman credits Cam and Sam’s performances on soprano saxophone and piano as the elements that “really made the song."
‘Curtain’ follows the previously released single ‘Point and Shoot’ which received acclaim from outlets like Uncut, The Line of Best Fit, Stereogum, Paste, Brooklyn Vegan, and Consequence, building anticipation for the album’s release later this summer.
The last month has been busy for the rising singer songwriter. He started off the month on tour in the US with Hamilton Leithauser (The Walkmen) and just wrapped up a headlining tour in Europe, including festival appearances at The Great Escape & Dot to Dot Festival. Looking ahead, Freeman will be playing with This Is Lorelei at NYC's Knockdown Center on July 19th, followed by another headlining EU tour starting in August, and then will be capping it off with an October U.S. tour supporting Grandaddy.
When Freeman quietly released his debut LP I Looked Out in 2022, it had no PR campaign, label, or music industry promo, but still garnered praise from notable critics, with Steven Hyden of UPROXX calling it “my favorite album of 2022 that I discovered in 2023,” and Paste Magazine naming it among the 25 Best Debut Albums of the 2020s. The word-of-mouth success of that release had Freeman on a relentless tour schedule.
Explosive, unsettling, and undeniable, the 10 tracks presented on Burnover meld energetic indie rock with an ambling twang. The album truly shines when Freeman tweaks the formula, like on today's release, ‘Curtain’. Originally demoed as a meandering guitar jam, the track came to life when pianist Sam Atallah tracked a tack-piano take at the studio. His lively leads invigorate the song, especially as Freeman sings lines like, “My thoughts die out slowly on the blood swept plains where I see you every night / And to the lonely hours, it’s like burning the furniture to keep the house bright at night.” Freeman says, “As soon as Sam laid down the piano, we heard the song for what it was and it came alive.” Burnover is Freeman’s most adventurous and personal yet, cementing him as a singular songwriting talent.
Cory Cullinan is a chart-topping musician, commissioned composer, author, award-winning teacher, speaker, and studio owner. His new release is a cathartic multigenerational multimedia collaboration entitled 2025 Alive. The streaming soundtrack is a high-tech improvisation by himself and his daughter acclaimed singer-songwriter Riley Max, and the film is a cinematic fantasia by his daughter Sidney Cullinan. He shares, "They express the myriad of thoughts and feelings we’ve had during this unconventional cultural year that, regardless of where you stand… feels like a test of some sort. A test of new ideas. Of old ideas in a modern world. Of stamina. Willpower. Intellect. Empathy. Patriotism."
He further confides, "2025 Alive has vocals throughout but only one lyric: “Test.” This word is immediately deconstructed and splintered into pieces, like so much in our modern world. Whether current events are testing your resolve in a culture you loved, or you support those who are testing just how far we can break or reform our norms, this premise is apropos of what you are experiencing in 2025. We hope you find our work meaningful in this amazing and overwhelming year to be alive."
